It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our Project Director, Colleen Rossiter, from the Canada School of the Public Service (CSPS), and by extension, the Caribbean Leadership Project (CLP).
Colleen has been the involved in the CLP since initial discussions began with the Government of Canada in 2006. She became the Project Director in 2010 when the Government of Canada named the CSPS as the Canadian Executing Agency for the Project. Her commitment to the CLP has been unwavering, and the Caribbean region owes Colleen a debt of gratitude for the CLP’s success and its positive impact on leadership development.
For us, Colleen is Canadian by birth but a Caribbean regionalist at heart. She has been a true champion for the design and delivery of leadership development interventions for the region, that are truly Caribbean in style and relevance. Her legacy will live on with the implementation of a sustainable leadership development programme – the Caribbean Leadership Programme – under the Caribbean Centre for Development Administration (CARICAD).
The CLP family wishes for Colleen all the very best in her future endeavours. We promise that her legacy will continue, and be expanded in her honour.
To borrow from the Jamaican dialect, we say to Colleen: “Walk good mi friend, walk good!”
