Update on the CARICAD Leadership Development Programme

December 16 2019 - by CARICAD Leadership Development Programme

It is hard to believe that we will soon be saying goodbye to 2019! If the only constant is change, then the CARICAD Leadership Development Programme has certainly had a year full of constant changes. Having transitioned into a permanent deliverable under CARICAD, the Programme has had a number of achievements of which we are proud. Since August, we have delivered:

  • Our first fully virtual Mid-Level Leadership Development Programme with 18 participants from across 6 countries;
  • Our first ever fully virtual Meetings as a Strategic Leadership Tool workshop with 12 participants from across 4 countries;
  • A customized Leadership Capacity Building Workshop for the executive team at the Caribbean Court of Justice;
  • A customized Emerging Leaders’ Development Programme for the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank;
  • ½ day Coaching Employees Workshop for Tax Administration Jamaica;
  • ½ day session at the Public Services International workshop for Caribbean public sector trade union leaders, on Polarity Mapping as a tool to address workers/citizens’ interests  and the growth of the Digital Economy;
  • Provision of materials to 7 public sector training units for the delivery of our First Time Leaders’ Development Programme; and
  • Micro-learning opportunities to support on-going leadership development through our webinars, blogs and dissemination of information through our social media platforms.

We thank our learning community for its on-going support, and we look forward to 2020, to our continued growth in our services to you, as together we aim to learn, network and succeed.

Until then, we wish for you a safe and wonderful holiday season!
